Data Analyst Senior

As a Data Analyst Senior, you are in charge of building SQL, Qlik, and PowerBI data models to support key business decisions. You will collaborate with our product owners, guide your team members, and work closely with our clients on their challenges requiring Data Foundations, Data Analytics, and Data Science.

You will work closely with data engineers, BI analysts, and product owners to create fast, efficient, and scalable data intelligence solutions for Werfen employees.

Key Accountabilities

Among others, you will:

1. Have between 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, managing a team or multiple projects. Preferably in the digital/tech and health/diagnostics/life science space.
2. Work with the team and business stakeholders to identify requirements, define models, and kickstart new analytics initiatives.
3. Build data models with SQL and automate them with Python. Have deep knowledge of all the datasets inside the data lake to be able to provide guidance to stakeholders.
4. Apply the correct data models to the business problem at hand.
5. Leverage creative solutions, analytics, and visualization/reporting techniques to enhance knowledge and drive actionable insights that deliver ROI.

Networking/Key Relationships

It is critical to build relationships based on trust within the organization as the function is to respond to the internal customer needs while taking into consideration the overall corporate strategy.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required

We expect that you have experience with:

1. Good knowledge of any programming language like Python.
2. Power BI, Qlik, or other dashboarding software.
3. Statistical programming (Python/R) and experience working with popular libraries and tools such as Pandas, SciPy, Seaborn, Jupyter/iPython notebooks, R Markdown.

We will consider it an advantage if you also have familiarity with any of the following:

1. DataOps principles.
2. Agile methodologies.
3. Git software versioning.

Skills & Capabilities

We expect you to demonstrate proficiency in data analysis and have a keen interest in understanding various business domains. You should also be able to communicate data concepts to non-technical colleagues.

2. You have good presentation skills.
3. You can communicate well within the team and with stakeholders.
4. You can analyze business requirements in dialogue with internal stakeholders.
5. You can collaborate directly with external consultants and vendors.
