Avanade is seeking a Power BI Developer to design and optimize BI data models and reports for diverse clients in a fast-paced analytics environment.

You’ll leverage Power BI, DAX, and SQL to create data-driven stories, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain access to Microsoft certification opportunities as part of a supportive learning culture.

Competenze

• Data model design following best practices (Star Schema).
• Confident communication with client stakeholders at all levels.
• Wider Power Platform knowledge (Power Apps, Power Automate, DataVerse).
• Capable in complex DAX and SQL.
• Experience with Power BI Embedded or custom visuals.

• Collaborate with senior team members and client stakeholders to gather requirements.

As a member of the Analytics team, you’ll have access to the research, knowledge, and tools to create leading-edge solutions. The role of a Power BI Developer is to utilize and enhance technical data modeling and visualization skills as you create a range of reports for our clients.Our clients look to us for innovation, which means you’ll have early access to the newest Microsoft technologies so you can master them. Key Responsibilities

• Design effective BI data models, layouts, and designs working closely with our digital design team to ensure optimal user experience
• Work with senior team members and client stakeholders to understand requirements
• Utilize navigation features in Power BI (bookmarks, drill through) to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story
• Work with our testing team to manage the processes around client User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Qualifications

• Data model design following best practice (Star Schema)
• Confident communication skills to work alongside client stakeholders of all levels
• Wider Power Platform knowledge desirable (Power Apps, Power Automate, DataVerse)
• Capable in complex DAX and SQL
• Power BI Embedded, Custom Visual Development
