Job summary

Mondelēz International in Barcelona seeks a Data & AI Engineer to build and optimise data pipelines and AI-driven solutions for a global media ecosystem. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and applied AI, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams across Marketing & I&A products.

You will design production-grade data pipelines, develop AI/ML models, and build APIs to surface insights to business users.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade data pipelines and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise data pipelines ingesting data from external media platforms.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML models and LLM-based workflows for insights and activation.
• Build and maintain APIs and backend services to surface data and insights to users.
• Implement monitoring and cost controls for pipelines and models in production.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Contribute to IaC (Terraform), containerisation (Docker), and CI/CD practices.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews and sprints.
