Viking Travel Care is seeking a Danish-speaking Assistance Coordinator to join its travel insurance assistance centre in Spain. You will assist Nordic travellers worldwide, providing reassurance, information, and practical help during illness, accidents or emergencies.

The role offers a full-time position in Spain with structured training and opportunities for development. Offices are in Torrevieja or Fuengirola, with 24/7 shifts including daytime, evening, night and weekends.

• No specific educational background required; emphasis on helping people and working in a busy environment.

Viking Travel Care is looking for Danish-speaking Assistance Coordinators to join our travel insurance assistance centre in Spain.

At Viking Travel Care, you will assist Nordic travellers around the world when they experience illness, accidents or other unexpected situations while travelling. You will provide important support to customers who need reassurance, information and practical assistance.

What does the role involve?

As an Assistance Coordinator, you will often be the first person a customer speaks to when something has happened.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Answering telephone calls and emails
• Listening to customers and understanding their situation
• Opening and following up on cases
• Providing information about insurance coverage
• Assisting with arrangements involving doctors, clinics, transport, hotels or repatriation when required
• Working with insurance companies, doctors, clinics and other partners

Our assistance centre operates 24/7, and working hours are organised across daytime, evening, night and weekend shifts.

Who are we looking for?

You do not need a particular educational background to apply. What matters most is that you enjoy helping people, communicate well and are comfortable working in a busy environment.

Experience in customer service, travel, healthcare, insurance, hospitality or other people-focused roles may be relevant, but it is not a requirement.

A background in areas such as languages, travel and tourism, healthcare, law, insurance or international studies may also be relevant, but is not required.

We are looking for someone who:

• Speaks and writes Danish fluently
• Speaks and writes English confidently
• Is comfortable communicating by telephone and in writing
• Is organised and accurate
• Enjoys finding solutions
• Works well both as part of a team and independently
• Learns new systems quickly
• Is flexible and positive

Additional languages are an advantage.
