Job summary

Drees & Sommer España is seeking a Cybersecurity Student / Intern to join our team in a fast-paced, international setting as part of a university internship with a 600-hour convenio de prácticas. The role focuses on blue-team activities, security monitoring, and collaboration with experienced engineers.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English, possess foundational networking knowledge, and have hands-on cyber labs or CTF experience. German helps but is not mandatory; mobile working is available.

Qualifications

• Active student status with possibility to sign an extracurricular internship agreement (600 hours).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; German is a plus.
• Solid networking knowledge from university studies (TCP/IP, firewalls, segmentation).
• Basic understanding of security incidents and common threats.
• Hands-on experience with lab projects or personal cybersecurity labs.

Responsibilities

• Support security monitoring and incident response activities.
• Assist vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Help build and maintain security dashboards and runbooks.
• Analyze phishing emails and document findings with the team.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity engineers on day-to-day tasks.
