Airbus Helicopters in Spain is seeking a Cybersecurity & Compliance Specialist to safeguard systems, networks and projects while ensuring compliance with international standards.

You will build and maintain the ISMS, implement Zero Trust concepts, support audits (ISO 27001, NIS2, ENS) and foster security training across teams.

A degree in CS or related field and hands-on IT/security experience are required; fluent English and Spanish are mandatory.

Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity & Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you won't just check compliance boxes; you will be the cornerstone that ensures our systems, networks, and projects are both highly secure and compliant with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure the Foundation: Maintain and improve our ISMS in alignment with global frameworks (or equivalent practical experience).
• Hands‑on Hardening: Define and review technical security controls (network security, system hardening, and DR/BCP plans).
• Risk Management: Perform gap analyses and maturity diagnostics to protect company assets.
• Secure by Design: Partner with IT and Network teams to embed Zero Trust principles into new projects.
• Audits & Compliance: Actively participate in internal/external audits and compliance reviews (ISO 27001, NIS2, ENS).
• Culture & Awareness: Help develop cybersecurity training and awareness initiatives for internal teams.

What We Are Looking For

• Background: A degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Experience: Solid experience in Cybersecurity or IT (Systems Administration, Network Engineering, etc.). Transferable technical skills are highly valued.
• Security Mindset: Familiarity with framework implementation (ISO 27001, NIS2, ENS, or similar).
• Project & Problem Solving: Proven ability to manage technical tasks or projects autonomously, with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
• Languages: Full Professional proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.

Nice-to-Haves

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
• Experience with GRC, Risk Methodologies (Magerit, EBIOS) or regulatory standards (CCN-STIC).
• Knowledge of French.
