Kudelski Security in Madrid invites a Cybersecurity Architect to lead end-to-end integration of Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel into our MDR platform, collaborating with Product, Operations, Detection and Engineering teams.

This role demands 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, hands-on Defender XDR/Sentinel experience, and the ability to drive scalable, automated deployment while communicating complex topics clearly to stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end integration of Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel into our MDR backend platform and services.
• Align with Microsoft Security roadmap as technical expert and liaison for MISA.
• Evaluate Microsoft Security products for integration with Kudelski Security offerings.
• Contribute to product strategy with the Product team and ensure cross-team alignment.
• Assess security visibility and detection capabilities of new technologies with MDR Detection Engineering.
• Mitigate technical and operational hurdles to integration with platform and service architects.
• Collaborate with DevOps to implement automated configuration management for the integrated tech.
• Ensure smooth transition of new technology into day-to-day MDR operations.

Position Summary

As a member of the Product Management team, the Cybersecurity Architect will work cross functionally to guide the integration of new technology into Kudelski Security’s MDR offerings, end-to-end. The architect will be responsible for evaluating new technology, understanding capabilities, and working to automate the deployment and management of the technology at scale. To succeed, the architect will collaborate very closely with the Product, Operational, Detection and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and be fully responsible for the end-to-end technical and operational integration of the Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel into our MDR backend platform and services.
• You will support alignment with Microsoft Security’s product roadmap as our technical expert and act as the technical point of contact for the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), partnering with Product Management to influence our Microsoft roadmap and solutions.
• Evaluate new Microsoft Security products and features for potential integration in Kudelski Security’s offerings, in close collaboration with the Product Management team.
• Contribute to the overall strategy with the Product team, advocate for its implementation, and support alignment across teams to meet strategic objectives.
• Assess the security visibility and detection capability of new technologies Kudelski Security may integrate, in collaboration with the MDR Detection Engineering team.
• Understand and mitigate technical and operational hurdles to integration of Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel, in collaboration with the platform and service architects.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to write and test automated configuration management solutions at scale for the technology being integrated into the MDR offerings.
• Ensure the smooth transition of newly integrated technology into day-to-day MDR operations, collaborating with cross-functional groups.

Your Key Qualities and Skills

• Passionate about cyber security and the development of new solutions to the growing cyber threats that organizations face.
• At least 5 years of hands-on professional experience in cybersecurity engineering, with proven expertise in designing, integrating and implementing secure systems.
• Hands on experience with the Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel
• Hands on experience with another security vendor is a huge plus (e.g. Crowdstrike, Google, SentinelOne)
• Experience in an MDR / MSSP environment is a huge plus.
• Hands on and interested in the “nuts and bolts” of how to integrate technology into an MDR offering that is designed for scale and efficiency.
• Self-motivated, self-directed, and highly motivated proven technology professional familiar with agile development and the Cyber Security / Innovative Technology industry.
• Experience with scripting and automation.
• Able to work internally and externally to drive the integration of new technology into our capabilities.
• A strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK.
• Successful track record of designing and implementing tools and systems to support Security Operations Centers (SOCs.)
• Ability to plan and execute at both strategic and operational levels.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and simple manner, ensuring understanding across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
