Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant specializing in Threat & Vulnerability Management and Cloud Security (Azure). The role includes leading remediation, prioritizing findings, and reporting via Power BI within the European Cybersecurity Directorate.

You will work in a multinational setting, with hybrid work options (Madrid). Fluent Spanish and English are preferred; Azure certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in operational cybersecurity.
• Experience as Cybersecurity/Cloud Security/Vulnerability Management Engineer.
• Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux systems; strong network fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal vulnerability scan results on large server landscape.
• Prioritize findings using CVE/CVSS; build action plans with IT teams.
• Lead remediation follow-up with meetings and escalations.
• Manage Prisma Cloud backlog and cloud configurations; improve posture.
• Update and present follow-up indicators using Power BI dashboards.
• Handle tickets/incidents related to TVM & CSPM and provide operational support.

• Experience 3+ years in operational cybersecurity, ideally focused on Threat & Vulnerability Management
• Hands-on experience as a Cybersecurity / Cloud Security / Vulnerability Management Engineer
• Technical backgroundSolid knowledge of Windows / Linux systems and network fundamentals
• Strong understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle: CVE, CVSS, prioritization, remediation
• Ability to distinguish between software vulnerabilities and cloud configuration issues
• Cloud & toolsPractical experience with Azure (GCP is a plus)
• Experience with at least one vulnerability scanning tool (e.g. Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management…)
• Familiarity with Prisma Cloud or other CSPM/CNAPP tools is a strong plus
• Ability to work with Power BI dashboards or similar reporting tools
• Soft skillsExcellent communication skills: able to lead meetings, influence without direct authority, and defend priorities with technical teams
• Strong proactivity, organization, and autonomy
• Comfortable working in multinational / multi-country environments
• LanguagesSpanish: native or very fluent
• English: fluent (C1 level recommended) – daily collaboration with European IT teams
• Nice to haveCertifications in Azure (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-500) or security (Security+, SC-900)
• Experience in Threat & Vulnerability Management for servers and/or Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)

You will join the European Cybersecurity Directorate, within the Infrastructure Cybersecurity platform, covering two complementary areas:

Threat & Vulnerability Management – Servers

• Analyze internal vulnerability scan results on a large server landscape
• Prioritize and qualify findings: CVE, CVSS score, exposure, asset criticality, false positives
• Build action plans with IT teams and lead remediation follow-up: meetings, reminders, escalations
• Ensure vulnerabilities are treated on time and according to risk level

Cloud Security Posture Management – Prisma Cloud (Azure & GCP)

• Manage the backlog of non-conformities and misconfigurations detected by Prisma Cloud
• Explain to each team what needs to be corrected, support them in remediation, and track cloud compliance levels
• Contribute to securing cloud infrastructures and applications by improving configuration and posture
• Propose process improvements for vulnerability management
• Suggest new use cases to identify vulnerabilities and risks more effectively
• Contribute to the evolution of cloud and infrastructure security practices

Reporting & communication

• Update and present follow-up indicators using existing Power BI dashboards
• Prepare presentations for committees and lead meetings with European IT teams
• Communicate clearly on priorities, risks, and remediation progress

Run activities (≈20% of your time)

• Handle tickets and incidents related to your scope (TVM & CSPM)
• Provide operational support to internal stakeholders
