Colliers International Deutschland Holding GmbH is seeking a junior Cyber Security Administrator to help configure NGFWs and WAFs, monitor endpoint protections, and analyze logs. You will work under senior engineers to implement rules, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

The role emphasizes collaboration with global IT teams, adherence to security frameworks, and hands-on learning across security tools and cloud platforms.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience in Systems Administration, network administration, or cybersecurity/firewall administrator role.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs) and basic firewall architecture.
• Exposure to or experience configuring and monitoring enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Fortinet, Cisco).
• Familiarity with Windows-based servers and endpoints, plus Azure AD and basic cloud security.
• Exposure to SIEM platforms and log monitoring principles.
• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and ability to follow security protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in configuring, operating, and maintaining NGFWs and WAFs (Palo, Cisco, Checkpoints).
• Implement, modify, and maintain firewall rules and policies under supervision.
• Support endpoint security administration and health-checks (MDE, Cisco Umbrella).
• Monitor firewall logs, SIEM dashboards, and network traffic; respond to alerts and triage tickets.
• Troubleshoot firewall, proxy, and IPS connectivity issues; generate activity reports and docs.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams across global IT groups.
