LIFE International School in Tres Cantos, Madrid, is seeking a Maintenance Worker to handle custodial tasks, basic repairs, and set-up for school activities. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and a welcoming environment for students and staff.

We offer a $550 monthly housing stipend, up to $1200 toward initial airfare, and visa/residency guidance as part of our missionary initiative. Start date is immediate in a full-time (35+ hrs/week) role.

LIFE International School is an English-immersion school offering a Christ-centered education to Spanish families in the community of Tres Cantos in Madrid Spain. We are seeking a Maintenance Worker who would also help with some custodial tasks, whose love for God is evidenced in a pattern of service which is reflected both in their personal and professional life, and who has the skills to support the daily operation of the school by helping to ensure that all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

In January 2026 we move into a new, 35,000 square feet building! We need HELP with custodial and maintenance. Come put your skill to work in Madrid, Spain!

This role includes routine cleaning of designated areas while also performing basic maintenance and repairs; monitoring building systems; and assisting with setup and cleanup for school activities and events. The worker follows established health and safety standards and helps maintain an orderly, welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating a safe and healthy learning environment are essential.

LIFE provides a $550 monthly housing stipend and up to $1200 toward initial airfare. Candidates would have to raise additional funds to cover other expenses. LIFE also helps navigate the challenges of initial visa and residency paperwork (cost is about $400).
