The British School of Valencia, part of Cognita Schools, invites applications for a Cover Music Secondary Teacher. The role centers on delivering engaging lessons and building student confidence in performance and composition. You will collaborate with staff to enhance the school's musical culture and plan inspiring activities.

This is a full-time, temporary position from September 2026 to November 2026, with opportunities to contribute to school life beyond the classroom.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring music to life in the classroom and beyond. As a Music Teacher, the role centres on delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that build students' confidence in performance, composition, and musical understanding. Creating a positive, purposeful learning environment is key, where students feel motivated to explore and develop their talents. Day to day, you'll plan inspiring lessons, track progress carefully, and adapt your approach to meet different needs. There's also plenty of scope to shape the school's wider musical culture through concerts, ensembles, and productions, helping to make music a visible and vibrant part of school life. Working closely with colleagues, you'll contribute to shared goals and a strong team ethos.
