A leading crop protection company is seeking a Country Manager Iberia based in Spain to drive sales growth and market position across Spain and Portugal. Responsibilities include building strong distributor relationships, preparing sales forecasts, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in a relevant field and at least 7 years of industry experience in sales. Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English is required. Frequent travel within the region and to Belgium is expected.
As Country Manager Iberia, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening Globachem’s market position in Spain and Portugal. You will develop strong, long-term relationships with key distribution partners and ensure that our customers experience Globachem’s values of quality, service, and partnership.

You grow sales and expand market share for Globachem’s crop protection products in Spain and Portugal, driving customer intimacy and delivering tailored service.
You build and maintain a selective, trusted network of distributors, fostering close collaboration and ensuring mutual success.
You prepare accurate sales forecasts and
you identify new business opportunities by leveraging customer insights, competitor intelligence, and market trends.
You collaborate closely with internal teams — Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and more — to deliver outstanding service and share valuable market insights with HQ.
You represent Globachem in the Iberian market as a trusted ambassador of our brand and values.
You report directly to the Sales Lead Southern Europe and you contribute actively within the global Sales & Marketing team.
You hold a master’s degree in Bioscience Engineering, Agronomy, or an equivalent field.
You demonstrate a proven and successful track record in sales of crop protection products and can bring at least 7 years of industry experience.
You have a deep understanding of the agricultural sector in Spain and Portugal, including market dynamics, farming practices and key crops.
You excel in commercial and technical negotiation skills with a consultative, customer-oriented approach.
You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in Spanish / Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
You are proactive, autonomous and results-driven, with a hands-on “can-do” attitude.
You are based in Spain or Portugal and can travel frequently within the region and abroad. Regular visits to our headquartes in Sint-Truiden (Belgium) are part of this.
