Job summary

White & Case is seeking a motivated trainee to join the Corporate team for a paid, full-time internship from September 2027 to January 2028. The trainee will support domestic and cross-border corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate advisory work.

You will work closely with partners and associates, gaining exposure to high-profile matters and global issues in a collaborative, international environment in Madrid.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with daily use in work.
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to work in small, high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Support qualified lawyers with straightforward legal tasks.
• Conduct research on legal issues and statutes for case preparation.
• Produce first drafts of basic legal documents.
• Organize and maintain case files for quick access.
• Handle basic day-to-day client communication and administrative tasks.
