Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking a Cook to join the NH Collection team in Madrid. You will be responsible for the preliminary preparation, cooking process, plating, and presentation of high-quality dishes to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

We value 1–2 years of kitchen experience, vocational hospitality training, and fluency in the local language, with knowledge of English highly valued. Join us for a dynamic, service-driven environment in iconic properties.

Formación

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Kitchen Assistant, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity.
• Fluency in the local language is a must and knowledge of English is highly valuable.
• Vocational training on hospitality/F&B/kitchen.

Responsabilidades

• Elaboration, conservation and organization of the mise-en-place for each of the services, minimizing product losses.
• Guarantee the presentation, quantity and quality of each dish of the service, based on the established standards.
• Check and control the proper storage of products, monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality (FIFO).
• Reception, conservation and organization of the products of your departure.
• Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work area.
• Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues.
• Awareness of departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team.
• Follow all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines (HACCP).
