Openbank, Santander Group's digital bank, is seeking a Technical BPM Consultant (Appian) based in Madrid within the Risk domain. You will develop and maintain Appian applications, integrate with databases and REST APIs, and support deployment and production operations across environments.

The role requires 2+ years with Appian, a Computer Science/Software Engineering degree, and English plus Spanish language skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a technical specialist in Appian projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• English and Spanish language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the analysis, design, and delivery of Appian Front-End features and user interfaces.
• Build and implement BPM workflows and process management solutions.
• Create and support integrations with databases, REST APIs, and SAML2 authentication through Azure Active Directory.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, while managing Docker images and supporting containerized environments.
• Coordinate and support application deployments across different environments, carrying out validations and providing production support including technical troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Oversee and coordinate technical development teams and services

Openbank is looking for a TechicalBPM Consultant (Appian) based out of Madrid. As a Technical BPM Consultant (Business Process Management) within the Risk domain, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications supporting the Risk function, while contributing to their integration, deployment, and operational support.

Professional Experience

2+ years of experience as a technical specialist in Appian projects.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related (required)

Language

Hard Skills

• Strong technical expertise in the Appian platform (UI, BPM, and Integrations). (Required)
• Strong technical knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and SQL. (Required)
• Experience with integration through REST APIs and API Management, with knowledge of Apigee and API security (OAuth 2.0, API Keys, etc.) being considered a plus. (Required)
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automation, and DevOps best practices, with basic knowledge of Docker and application containerization considered a plus. (Preferred)
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, MuleSoft, and Provenir will be valued. (Preferred)
• Experience with Agile project management tools, including Jira and Confluence. (Required)
