Job summary

AniCura is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Madrid to lead the design and construction efforts across our veterinary clinic network. This senior role reports to the Director of Construction and focuses on delivering high-quality design standards and efficient project execution.

You will define design guidelines, oversee the full project lifecycle, and collaborate with executives, marketing, and external agencies.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in design with leadership experience, ideally in healthcare or veterinary spaces.
• Experience aligning design with regulations and leading large-scale renovations or digital platform rollouts.
• Mastery of design tools such as Figma or Sketch and inclusive design for clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve design guidelines for MVH Europe projects to ensure quality and consistency.
• Oversee the end-to-end design process from inception to post-project review for clinic renovations and digital rollouts.
• Collaborate with senior executives, marketing teams, and external agencies to elevate design performance and public profile.

The team

This strategic role reports directly to the Director of Construction and is integral to the leadership team's transformational agenda. You will have a global scope, covering the entire MVH network's current and future footprint. You will work closely with Project Delivery Teams, Commercial teams, and Marketing to align Design Guide Standards with our overarching company principles, ensuring a strong, collaborative environment focused on project delivery success.

What we're looking for

• 7–10+ years in design, with 3-5 years in a strategic leadership capacity, ideally in healthcare or veterinary industries.
• Experience aligning design with veterinary regulations and leading large-scale initiatives like clinic renovations or digital platform rollouts.
• Mastery of design system tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) and a deep understanding of inclusive design for clinical workflows.
• Native-level Spanish language proficiency (written and spoken) alongside fluent business English.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
