Elawan Energy is seeking a Compliance professional to manage its policy framework, governance, and training programs. You will oversee risk analysis with internal and external partners and ensure regulatory alignment across the group.

Key duties include updating the Compliance Manual, handling KYC requests, and safeguarding sensitive information, while working in a dynamic, international renewable energy environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; postgraduate Compliance qualification desirable.
  • 1–2 years of proven experience in a Compliance role within regulated industries or firms.
  • English and Spanish full professional proficiency; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Prepare, develop, and communicate information regarding the Compliance Policy Framework.
  • Monitor and implement updates by identifying key legal and regulatory changes.
  • Review and update the Compliance Manual annually and implement risk policies.
  • Manage and respond to KYC requirements from financial institutions and partners.
  • Manage sensitive internal information with proper handling and protection.
  • Oversee reports and incidents via whistleblowing channels and policies.

Management, maintenance, updating and monitoring of the company's Compliance program, governance, and internal records. Management of risk analysis procedures with counterparties, both internal and external to the company. Development, delivery, and monitoring of Compliance training courses.

What do we need your help with?

  • Prepare, develop, and communicate information regarding the importance of the Compliance Policy Framework; obtain employees’ acknowledgment and approval confirming that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the company’s compliance policies.
  • Monitor and implement updates by identifying key legal and regulatory changes, proposed regulations, and emerging issues relevant to Elawan.
  • Review and update the Compliance Manual annually to reflect evolving risks, business developments, and changes in applicable laws and regulations. Draft and implement policies and procedures focused on risk prevention and mitigation across the group.
  • Manage and respond to KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements from financial institutions and external companies with which the organization conducts business.
  • Manage sensitive internal company information, establishing guidelines and controls for its proper handling and protection.
  • Oversee and manage reports and incidents received through the various communication and whistleblowing channels established within the group, ensuring alignment with the group’s whistleblowing and hotline policies.
Your mission

Your profile

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in Corporate Compliance, Business Law, Commercial Law, or specialized training in Compliance is highly desirable.

Professional Experience: Between 1 and 2 years of proven experience in a Compliance role within a regulated industry, consulting firm, or a law firm specializing in Compliance, forensic investigations, risk management, or a related field. Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.

Other Values: Knowledge of documentation management and Compliance legal frames. English and Spanish (full professional proficiency). Additional languages (French/Portuguese) are a plus.

Desired Knowledge: Ms Excel, World-check tools (Refinitiv, Dow Jones, GRC), Ms Power Point, Ms Word Database management.
