Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support the commissioning of critical data center systems across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, including medium and low voltage power, generators, UPS, HVAC, chilled water systems, BMS and EPMS.

You will lead Factory Witness Testing, review submittals, develop test scripts, and coordinate with vendors and teams to ensure on‑time, high‑quality project delivery. AWS values equal opportunity and safety.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• NETA or ASHRAE certification or commissioning specific education courses.
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with the design, construction, operation or maintenance of mission‑critical facilities, especially data centers.

Responsabilidades

• Support vendors, contractors and other teams involved in the construction and commissioning of various systems such as medium and low voltage power systems, generators, UPS, HVAC, chilled water systems, building management systems (BMS), electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS), testing and balancing, pumps and hydronic systems.
• Provide multi‑discipline input into scheduling, test script development, designing and planning of projects.
• Review component submittal packages.
• Lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT).
• Perform system level and integrated system testing.
• Audit activities to ensure compliance with environmental, quality and safety requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive weekly reports of status of all ongoing projects and lessons learned.
• Cover multiple in‑flight projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment.
• Experience using a variety of web‑based and other software tools for calculation and data processing.
