Job summary

Midad Energy in Madrid is seeking a Commercial Finance & Modelling Lead to build and maintain robust project economics and cash flow models for upstream oil & gas investments. You will model PSAs and fiscal regimes, run sensitivities, and prepare executive presentations with a clear, concise financial narrative.

You should bring proven financial modelling experience, Excel mastery (VBA a plus), and strong communication skills to translate technical assumptions into actionable insights for senior

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial modelling, planning or project economics, preferably in the upstream oil & gas sector.
• Solid understanding of PSAs and petroleum fiscal regimes.
• Advanced financial modelling skills in Excel; VBA is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• A rigorous, structured approach, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
