MediaMarktSaturn is seeking a hands-on Cloud Platform Engineer to build and operate a Google Cloud / GKE platform that powers a scalable marketplace backend. You will own deployment reliability, security, and observability while driving long-term fixes and automation.

You will collaborate across teams to reduce friction, enable self-service, and strengthen CI/CD with GitHub Actions. The role emphasizes Terraform, GitOps (Flux), and modern backend stacks.

Formación

• Proven experience building and operating Kubernetes in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and GitOps workflows (Flux).
• Strong monitoring/observability with Prometheus and Grafana.

Responsabilidades

• Build and operate a Google Cloud / GKE platform for a scalable marketplace backend.
• Own deployment reliability, security, and observability with automation.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and self-service capabilities across teams.
• Tackle production issues with long-term fixes and prevent recurrences.
• Develop small tools in TypeScript/Node.js when beneficial.
