Decskill España is seeking a seasoned Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and evolve scalable cloud infrastructure in an international, 100% remote setup. The role focuses on Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and automated platform solutions for enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will craft IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and security controls while supporting development teams and documenting standards across global projects.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development and engineering roles.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Azure.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and hosting environments.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Apply cloud security best practices including identity management and access controls.
• Support containerized deployments and platform operations.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance and availability.
• Establish infrastructure standards and deployment best practices.
• Guide development teams on cloud architecture and deployment automation.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and procedures.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join an international team and contribute to the design, implementation, and evolution of cloud platform solutions. This role is focused on building and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure environments.

Important: This position is strictly for a Cloud Platform Engineer and should not be considered a DevOps role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and application hosting environments.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Implement cloud security best practices, identity management, access controls, and secrets management.
• Support containerized application deployments and platform operations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance, reliability, and availability.
• Establish infrastructure standards, governance, and deployment best practices.
• Support development teams with cloud architecture, deployment automation, and operational guidance.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development and engineering roles.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Kubernetes
• Terraform
• Azure
