Job summary
UNOPS is seeking an ICT Officer in Valencia to deliver reliable private cloud, private AI, PaaS, and public cloud services within the Platform Support Unit. You will ensure secure, scalable infrastructure and automation practices across engineering processes, with 24/7 on-call support to maintain mission-critical platform services.
Responsibilities include designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, implementing IaC and CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing cloud consumption
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in IT, CS, engineering, or related field; zero years of experience required.
- Alternatively, a first-level university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) with two years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, operate, and maintain private cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, virtualization) for performance and resilience.
- Deploy, operate, and optimize the private AI platform, including GPU-accelerated infra and MLOps tooling.
- Support on-premises PaaS offerings (container orchestration, databases).
- Design, implement, and manage public cloud environments, optimize consumption, and support hybrid connectivity.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions; provide 24/7 on-call support and contribute to change management.
