Centric Software Spain, S.L. is seeking a seasoned Cloud Operations professional to support Centric Cloud Customers by building and maintaining a scalable, robust platform for the C8 cloud application. You will report to the Senior Director, Cloud Operations.

The role emphasizes AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Linux excellence, security, and DevOps practices, with opportunities to work remotely and collaborate across Engineering, DevOps and Support teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years working with Public Cloud infrastructure AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Advanced Linux or Open Source knowledge.
• Expert in Containerization i.e. Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking and security.
• Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Detailed knowledge of Microservices and DevOps.
• 3+ years in incident response and major incident management.
• Experience with Docker, Rancher, Virtualization, VPN, Kafka, RDP.
• Advanced Linux and Windows experience.
• Desirable: Confluence/Jira, Nagios, SSO, and SQL.

• Perform customer deployments, migrations and upgrades in the cloud environment.
• Support automation projects including coding.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and manage servers across cloud environments.
• Create and maintain cloud networking components.
• Perform backups and restores of databases and servers.
• Ensure security processes are followed and customer data is secured.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Support teams to resolve issues.
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.

Job Summary

This role will be responsible for utilizing a diverse set of cloud technologies to support Centric Cloud Customers, and to help build and maintain a scalable, robust, highly available platform for Centric’s C8 cloud application. This position will report to the Senior Director, Cloud Operations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve time-critical customer issues in the public cloud
• Perform customer deployments, migrations and upgrades in the cloud environment
• Support automation projects including writing coding
• Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and manage servers in multiple cloud environments
• Create, manage, and maintain Cloud networking components
• Perform backups and restores of database and servers
• Assist in ensuring security processes are followed and customer data is secured
• Perform other administrative tasks in cloud environments as directed
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Support teams to resolve issues
• Build effective working relationships with cross-functional team member
• Make suggestions for process improvements and enhanced operational efficiencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, MIS, or related technology field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years working with Public Cloud infrastructure AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Advanced Linux or Open Source knowledge
• Expert in Containerization ie Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of cloud networking and security
• Infrastructure and Configuration as Code methodologies
• Detailed knowledge Microservices and DevOps
• 3+ years in incident response and major incident management
• Experience with the following technologies: Docker, Rancher, Virtualization, VPN, Kafka, RDP
• Advanced Linux and Windows experience
• Experience with the following is highly desirable: Confluence/Jira, Nagios, SSO, and SQL.
