LCKY Group is seeking a seasoned Database Architect to own and evolve our data infrastructure across Europe, with offices in Sofia or Barcelona. You will lead core database design, performance tuning, and a long-term migration strategy to the cloud, balancing stability with scalability using MySQL/MariaDB.

You will collaborate with international teams and explore PostgreSQL options where appropriate, ensuring robust security, disaster recovery, and high availability as we modernize our data

Formación

• 10+ years of database engineering, data modeling, or advanced DBA experience.
• Deep, hands-on production experience with MySQL and MariaDB.
• Experience with AWS data solutions (RDS, Aurora).
• Strong English communication for collaboration across international offices.

Responsabilidades

• Own and optimize core database structures built on MySQL and MariaDB.
• Architect and execute long-term data migration strategy to AWS.
• Diagnose bottlenecks, optimize queries, and implement efficient indexing strategies.
• Evaluate and plan integration of PostgreSQL where appropriate.
• Establish robust disaster recovery plans, high-availability configurations, and data security protocols.
• Collaborate with development teams across Bulgaria, Netherlands, and Malta to enforce data standards.
