Gaming Innovation Group is seeking a Database Architect to design, implement, and optimize innovative database solutions that support our strategic goals. You will drive the database strategy, ensure performance, scalability, and data security across assets.

You will lead architecture efforts, collaborate with stakeholders, and guide projects from concept to deployment, leveraging relational and NoSQL platforms in cloud environments. Hybrid Madrid-based role with growth opportunities.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in DBA work, database architecture and design.
• Proven track record of leading complex database projects and initiatives.
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling, normalization, and performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud-based database platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data platforms for both Microsoft (SQL Server) and Open Source technologies (Postgres and MySQL).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and articulate a long-term database strategy that aligns with business objectives and technology roadmap.
• Design and implement complex database architectures for OLTP and other data platform models.
• Optimize performance through indexing, tuning, and monitoring.
• Lead database-related projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration.
