Adevinta is hiring an experienced defensive security engineer to lead incident response across our large enterprise environments. You will work autonomously through the full IR lifecycle, strengthening detection and response with EDR, SIEM, DLP, NIDS and threat intel capabilities.

You’ll align with GitOps and defence-as-code, manage detection content and playbooks, and contribute to post‑mortems. Strong AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD knowledge and MITRE/NIST familiarity are required; English fluency is

Formación

• 4+ years in a security engineering, SOC or incident response role.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate complex findings clearly.
• Experience with defense-in-code approaches and playbook development.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsabilidades

• Lead deep investigations into cloud and platform incidents escalated from Core Defense.
• Develop and refine cloud-specific playbooks and escalation procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to post-mortem analyses.
• Operationalize threat intelligence by feeding it into the SIEM detection pipeline.
