Job summary

Titan OS in Barcelona seeks a Data Platform Engineer to build, run and scale the cloud infrastructure powering its data platform. You will own Terraform-based infra, CI/CD tooling and collaboration with the Infrastructure and data teams to ensure reliability, security and cost efficiency.

The role focuses on AWS-based data workloads with Snowflake, MWAA and Lake Formation, and requires strong Python, Terraform and Kubernetes skills, plus fluent English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in platform/infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering in data workloads.
• Hands-on AWS: IAM, S3, VPC/networking, KMS, Secrets Manager; some Glue/EMR/Kinesis.
• Terraform/Terragrunt expertise; multi-environment management.
• CI/CD pipelines experience (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Python scripting for automation and tooling; Bash comfortable.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience; Airflow/MWAA familiarity.
• Snowflake or cloud warehouse experience; data platform deployment and security.
• Operational mindset: monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting; strong communication.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision and operate the data platform’s AWS infrastructure as code (Terraform/Terragrunt): S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, MWAA, Lake Formation, IAM, KMS and networking
• Own the platform’s CI/CD and developer tooling: GitHub Actions workflows, OIDC deployments, CodeArtifact publishing, local dev environments, and the internal Python SDK/CLI
• Operate and scale orchestration and ingestion services: upgrades, environment management, capacity, reliability
• Own privacy workflows: GDPR deletion pipelines, consent data and PII handling with auditable access control
• Manage Snowflake as infrastructure: roles, warehouses, integrations, service accounts and secrets
• Build observability for the platform: monitoring, logging, lineage, metadata tooling; participate in incident response
• Track and optimise cloud costs across AWS and Snowflake
