MediaMarktSaturn Plattform Services GmbH is leading a data-centric initiative in Barcelona within the Corporate Stock Valuation team, focusing on accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. The role emphasizes Teradata-to-BigQuery migrations and scalable data pipelines to support inventory valuation across the group.

You will work with Product Owners, Finance, and IT stakeholders, applying DevOps and CD practices to deliver robust analytics solutions and improve processes across

Formación

• A degree in IT or business administration, technical or equivalent education/experience
• Experience in an engineering/technology role in agile product environments using DevOps and continuous delivery
• In-depth experience with BigQuery SQL and GCP services (Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub) is mandatory
• Proficiency in Terraform or similar IaC tools, Git, and testing is mandatory
• Knowledge and management of data migration and integration from Teradata to BigQuery is mandatory
• Knowledge of Python/Java/Perl and Dataform is desirable
• Strong communication for collaboration with peers, technical teams and stakeholders
• Proactive, open and a strong team player

Responsabilidades

• Migrate stock valuation from Teradata to Google Cloud (BigQuery) and optimize the solution
• Develop financial simulations for major business incidents
• Continuously improve these solutions
• Conduct code reviews and support team members
• Partner with Product Owners and Finance/Accounting to translate business needs into reliable solutions
• Cross-functional collaboration to solve technical problems and refine development processes
