T-Systems Iberia is recruiting a Software / Database Developer to join an agile, international team focused on cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and SQL data models, collaborating with Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Architects across multiple locations.

The role emphasizes strong SQL, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, and DevOps practices within an agile environment as part of Deutsche Telekom’s international team.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software development with a focus on database development.
• Excellent SQL programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of BigQuery.
• Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool).
• Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of relational database design and data modeling.
• Experience developing ETL pipelines.
• Experience with REST APIs and data integration concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile software development (Scrum and/or SAFe).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and database solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop efficient and maintainable SQL code for data transformation and reporting.
• Build and optimize data models using dbt.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes.
• Optimize database performance and query execution.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Architects, and Business Analysts.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Refinements, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Review code and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.
• Contribute to technical solution design and architecture discussions.
