T-Systems Iberia is seeking a Cloud Architect in Granada to shape our OpenStack-based public cloud, focusing on networking, security, and platform automation. You will work in an agile squad, mentor colleagues, and combine architecture with hands-on implementation.

The role requires deep OpenStack expertise, Linux and networking skills, and strong communication in English. A hybrid remote/on-site setup in Granada is offered.

• Bachelor's degree or technical training with IT experience.
• 3–5 years' IT experience with cloud technologies.

# Cloud Architect - T Cloud Public (m/f/d)GranadaProfessionalRegularT-Systems Iberiatsi\_iberia## About this job### Your TaskAs a **Cloud Architect** for T Cloud Public, you will shape the next generation of our public cloud by enhancing and evolving the physical and virtual networking layers of our OpenStack-based platform.#### Responsibilities* Designing, operating, and further developing OpenStack-based network services on the T Cloud Public platform in close collaboration with vendors and internal experts* Planning and driving automation initiatives using modern frameworks to improve reliability and speed* Enhancing the platform's network architecture with strong focus on IT security and robustness* Working closely with specialists across the Deutsche Telekom Group on topics related to public cloud and open-source technologies* Preparing technical materials, presenting architectural concepts, and advising management on strategic technology decisions* Acting as a senior architect within an agile squad — supporting, mentoring, and guiding colleagues as part of everyday work* Handling hands-on tasks at the console to validate and support architectural decisions* Improving and modernizing cloud platform architecture with IT security top of mind* Designing and developing innovative platform and SaaS features* Being a trusted advisor in OpenStack-based public cloud technologies* Working hands-on and combining architecture with practical implementation* Automating consistently using established frameworks### Your ProfileWe are looking for a **Cloud Architect** with deep expertise in OpenStack-based cloud platforms, network architecture, and infrastructure automation, combined with strong mentoring and communication abilities.#### Must Have Skills* Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or equivalent professional training* 3–5 years of professional experience in IT with strong exposure to modern cloud technologies* Deep knowledge of software, cloud, and container architectures* Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)* In-depth knowledge of Linux* In-depth knowledge of system tools* In-depth knowledge of network related services* Strong customer orientation* Ability to understand real-world use cases* Knowledge of agile development methods* Experience working in agile teams* Mentoring skills* Presentation skills* Communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly* Ability to evaluate technical solutions and propose creative, future-proof approaches* Fluency in written and spoken English#### Nice to Have Skills* OpenStack knowledge* Open-source programming experience### About Us**T‐Systems** is part of the Deutsche Telekom Group, with around 30,000 employees worldwide.
