Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Clinical Trial Assistant for an office-based role in Madrid. You will support site monitoring activities, ensure adherence to study protocols and GCP guidelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep site operations efficient.

Ideal candidates have a life sciences degree and some clinical research experience, with strong organizational and communication skills and a willingness to travel about a quarter of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare administration, or clinical research.
• Some experience in clinical research, site management, or related administrative roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring clinical trial sites, ensuring adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and GCP guidelines.
• Support site management activities, including documentation preparation, data entry, and tracking site performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and address site-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities and contribute to monitoring reports.
• Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance knowledge in clinical trial management.
