Ebury Madrid – Office based, we are expanding our Client Portfolio coverage team to manage and assist a growing portfolio of corporate clients, with a focus on FX and cash management. Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced fintech environment and learn about FX markets and client servicing.

The role offers exposure to SPOT/FWD trades, multiple liquidity providers, and cross-department processes. Fluency in Spanish and English, and a degree in economics or finance are favored.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and support a portfolio of corporate clients with FX hedging and cash management.
• Execute FX trades (SPOT, FWD) with multiple liquidity providers and on trading platforms including Bloomberg.
• Handle high volumes of inquiries via phone and email with the Client Portfolio Management team.
• Learn and understand processes across departments (Screening, Operations, Reconciliation, Compliance, Treasury).
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Due to the rapid growth of our client book we are looking to expand our Client Portfolio coverage team in Madrid. The role is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain a greater understanding of FX.

About the Role

In the Client Portfolio support role you will have responsibility for managing, maintaining, and assisting our portfolio of corporate clients, offering an optimum level of service.

Responsibilities

• Service a portfolio of clients through a range of different products, including FX hedging & cash management.
• Execution of FX trades (SPOT, FWD, etc.) with multiple liquidity providers, using various different trading platforms, as well as Bloomberg.
• Handle a high volume of incoming requests via phone and email with the Client Portfolio Management team.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the processes within all departments including Screening, Operations, Reconciliation, Compliance and Treasury.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Your experience

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the FX industry beneficial
• Interest and knowledge of the Financial markets
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Degree level education, ideally in economics, business studies or finance, preferred
• Strong mathematical understanding
• Ability to work under pressure while working accurately and efficiently
• Fast learner with a high level of attention to detail
• Possess a positive, enthusiastic and motivated attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including an excellent phone manner
