Sompo in Barcelona is seeking a Claims Technician to join the Claims Management Team. The role focuses on triaging FNOL mailboxes, recording new claims, and processing electronic files from TPAs and policyholders.

You will enter and review notes in the claims system, assist with payments and letters, and help improve workflows. Fluent in Spanish and English, you will thrive in a collaborative, service‑minded environment at Sompo.

Formación

• Experience as a Claims Technician in an insurance/reinsurance environment.
• Independent, team-oriented and reliable working style with good communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Languages: Spanish and English; Italian and/or French desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Triage FNOL mailboxes and record new claims in the system.
• Process electronic files from TPAs and policyholders.
• Enter and review notes in the claims system as instructed.
• Process payments and generate letters, reports, and forms.
• Upload data into the GuideWire claims system.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and efficient processes.
• Assign new claims to the appropriate handler based on criteria.
• Monitor and report on the inventory of new claims.
