EDICOM is seeking a Localization Marketing Assistant with native Chinese and strong English to support our growth in the Chinese market. You will help adapt content, craft social media pieces, and manage newsletters as part of APAC expansion, working closely with the APAC Marketing Manager and Content Distribution Manager.

Localization Marketing Assistant with Chinese [Valencia]

At EDICOM, we help to digitalize companies through the development of SaaS solutions (Software as a Service), automating and integrating the exchange of data (EDI), eliminating manual insertion errors and unnecessary use of paper worldwide. We have offices in New York, Milan, Paris, Valencia, Seville, Murcia, Porriño, Burgos, Mexico City, Bogotá, Buenos Aires and São Paulo, and we are consolidating our expansion process in Asia.

We are bolstering our international operations in the Americas and EMEA, as well as expanding eastward, APAC, from our headquarter in Valencia, Spain. So, we are looking to boost our marketing force by recruiting 1 Localization Marketing Assistant , or people who are ready to become one, to take our SaaS Marketing strategy to the next level in the Asian continent, with particular focus on China.

Task

Your role:

As Localization Marketing Assistant, your mission will be to carry out the tasks aligned with the country and product marketing Managers’ plans, in order to support the creation of communication materials and specific marketing actions that will enable the company to achieve its lead-generation objectives in the Chinese market.

Among the company’s strategic objectives, and as part of our rollout in APAC, it is critical to address the adaptation of our content strategy and lead generation approach in China.

So, in addition to language skills in Chinese, we are seeking someone with strong cultural and family ties to the country (China), as a significant part of their mission within the company will involve supporting the rollout of the entire Marketing Content architecture in the country, assisting the APAC Marketing Manager, the APAC Commercial Area director and the Marketing Content Distribution Manager in tasks related to preparing our presence on social media and SEO in the country.

Dissemination of content

You will work closely with the head of content dissemination to carry out the action plan defined to achieve the company’s positioning and visibility objectives in the different markets in which it operates. The tasks associated with this section include:

• Adapting web content to the markets where we operate, with a special focus on translation management.
• Development of creative pieces for social networks and thumbnails for YouTube.
• Creating newsletters and managing their delivery through our e-mail marketing platform.

Marketing management support

• Drafting specific content for the EDICOM blog, writing the news according to the SEO and style criteria defined in each action.
• Supporting company events and webinars in the organization, promotion and management tasks defined according to the aims and characteristics of each event to be attended.

Requirements

What we are looking for in you:

• Experience? Without being an essential requirement, experience will be valued as long as it has been acquired performing tasks similar to those described in the “Functions” section.
• University degree in Business Administration (ADE), International Business, Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations or related fields.
• Native level of Chinese and minimum C1 level of spoken and written English.
• Familiar with the technologies associated with Internet, and ability to develop communication actions in the field of online marketing.
• Oral and written fluency, and great analytical ability to process information and convert it into useful content for the target audience, adapted to the channel through which it will be disseminated.
• Additional training in Community Management, SEO / SEM or Web Analytics will be a plus.
