Job summary

2 Open China Ecommerce is seeking a Chinese intern based in Madrid to join as a generalist support on cross-border projects. The role is primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings in Madrid, offering exposure to international business and decision-making.

You will assist in market research, prepare presentations, coordinate with Europe- and China-based teams, and help with translations (Chinese–English; Spanish a plus). Ideal for students in business-related fields.

Qualifications

• Native Chinese and strong English skills (written and spoken).
• Currently based in Madrid (mandatory).
• Student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Economics, International Relations or related fields.
• Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Well organized, proactive and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working both remotely and occasionally in person.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong interest in China–Europe business, e-commerce and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide generalist support to the team across multiple areas (business, e-commerce, operations and coordination).
• Assist in market research, competitive analysis and China-related desk research.
• Prepare presentations and internal documents (PowerPoint, basic reports).
• Support communication and coordination between Europe- and China-based teams.
• Assist with translations and bilingual support (Chinese–English; Spanish is a plus).
• Support ongoing projects with operational, organizational and ad-hoc tasks as needed.
