weVLC, a Valencia-first real estate investment and transformation platform, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to turn ambition into predictable execution across delivery, renovations, finance, compliance and tenant experience.

This senior leadership role spans building the operating model, leading a growing team, and delivering projects on time and on budget, with direct exposure to the CEO, board and international investors in a fast-moving environment.

The company has built a profitable entrepreneurial foundation and is now entering its next phase: growing project volume, professionalising operations, strengthening reporting and building the systems that allow weVLC to scale without losing quality, speed or culture.

The Role: Chief Operating Officer

As COO, you turn ambition into predictable execution. This is a full-stack operating role across project delivery, renovation execution, financial control, compliance, investor success, tenant experience and team performance. You work on the organisation as much as in the organisation: building structure, installing rhythm, clarifying ownership and making sure the company scales through systems, not chaos. You will have the mandate to professionalise the operating model, build and lead the team, and make execution decisions across projects, operations and reporting. This is a senior leadership role with direct exposure to the CEO, board and international investors.

Success in this role means projects are delivered on time, on budget and to weVLC quality standards; teams know who owns what; project margins and operational performance are transparent; investors receive clear and reliable reporting; and residents experience weVLC as premium, responsive and connected.

Your first 12 months

In your first year, your focus will be to professionalise the operating machine behind weVLC’s next phase of growth. This means strengthening project, financial, risk and compliance control; building accountability across the team; improving investor reporting; and ensuring that project delivery, tenant experience and community operations scale to weVLC standards and local regulatory requirements. The business should become more predictable, more transparent, more compliant and easier to scale, without losing the entrepreneurial speed and ownership that made weVLC successful.

The candidate we are looking for

We are looking for a senior operator who wants real ownership. Someone who is motivated by complexity, structure and building a company that can scale. You may already operate at COO level, or you may be a strong Head of Operations, Operations Director, General Manager, Chief of Staff or platform leader ready to step into full operational responsibility. You bring the maturity to lead, the discipline to structure and the energy to operate in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.

What you bring

• 8–15+ years of relevant experience in operations, scaling companies, real estate, hospitality, proptech, flex-living, construction/project operations or investor‑backed platforms
• Proven ability to scale an operationally complex business from founder‑led to process‑led
• Experience managing multi‑project execution with budgets, timelines, suppliers and teams
• Strong financial, analytical and reporting capability
• Experience with operational P&L responsibility, project‑level financial control or portfolio performance
• Ability to design and implement scalable processes, KPIs, dashboards and reporting rhythms
• Experience building and leading performance‑driven teams
• Confidence working with founders, boards, investors and international stakeholders
• Strong English is mandatory; Spanish is a strong advantage
• Willingness to commit full‑time and in‑office in Valencia
• Real estate, renovation, property operations, hospitality, residential platform or flex‑living experience is highly relevant, but not the only route. What matters is the ability to translate operational discipline into a complex, physical, fast‑scaling platform.
