Institut Quimic Sarria (IQS) – Universitat Ramon Llull seeks a talented academic to join the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science as a Permanent Faculty Member in Chemical Engineering. The role blends teaching, research and academic development within IQS and Ramon Llull University.

You will teach, conduct research, supervise theses and develop collaborations with universities and industry, contributing to IQS’ strategic priorities and international visibility in engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Good command of English with ability to teach in this language.
• Publications and/or patents in international journals.
• Interest in combining high-quality teaching with research and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Teach core and advanced Chemical Engineering courses, in English and/or Spanish.
• Coordinate and teach laboratory courses in Chemical Engineering.
• Develop an independent, competitive and internationally visible research line.
• Supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s theses and PhD dissertations.
• Lead or contribute to research proposals and funded projects.
• Establish national and international research partnerships with universities and industry.
