Daimler Truck AG is seeking a procurement professional to provide operational support to front office buyers and work within procurement guidelines to secure the best competitive options for the company.

The role requires automotive industry knowledge, experience with international teams, and strong MS Office skills. English B2 and Spanish C1 are expected; a Bachelor's or Associate degree in supply chain or business is preferred.

Formación

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
• Experience with purchasing processes and procurement workflows preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support Buyers with Requisitions, RFQs, and quote comparisons.
• Create standard and ad hoc reports and presentations for procurement.
• Support internal and external customers and track deadlines within procurement systems.
• Handle ad hoc requests such as weight validation and ANP support.
• Maintain master data and perform data analysis for procurement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing and supplier management.
• Assist with supplier code creation and eDocs registration.

Objective Of The Position

Operational support working closely with TP/G4 Front Office Buyers. Always working within Procurement Guidelines procedures to ensure the best competitive options for the company.

Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded)

• Preferred experience/knowledge of automotive industry with preference in Purchasing area.
• Experience working with international teams and cross-functional teams is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Access, etc)
• interpretation/ understanding of techincal drawings/specs.
• year of related experience; Minimun one (1) year experience is preferred, with purchasing processes
• English level: B2
• Spanish level: C1

Main Functions

• Support buyers with Requisitions, RfQs, Quote comparisons, contract creation for new parts, ANP or Raw Material updates, and documentation in relevant systems
• Create standard and ad hoc reports and presentations
• Support of internal and external customers, correspondence, deadline tracking and monitoring for the procurement department
• Execute ad hoc requests, e.g. RM weight validation, ANP Support
• Master data maintenance and data analysis
• Support identification and realization of continuous improvement measures
• Support on supplier code creation and eDocs registration, ECF..
• Proactively support on tooling hand-off, clear GR errors/ Price discrepancies, requisitions management.
