AstraZeneca GmbH in Barcelona seeks an experienced Scientific Project Manager to oversee outsourcing for Cell Therapy Enterprise activities across preclinical programs. The role requires on-site presence three days per week and fluent English.

You will ensure timely delivery within budget and quality, drive continuous improvement of tools and processes, and collaborate with cross-country teams to schedule tasks, manage risks, and optimise resources.

Formación

• Experience in Scientific Project Management within a pharmaceutical/clinical environment.
• Knowledge of legislation and developments around Project, Change, Business Improvement and Strategy Management.
• Experience as a project or change manager in a pharmaceutical or clinical environment.
• Ability to apply statistical techniques in the analysis of data from clinical studies.
• Typically interacts with people in at least 2 countries (UK, SE, US).
• Advanced degree or professional certification in a related field (Desirable)
• Understanding of multiple aspects of Scientific Project Management (Desirable)

Responsabilidades

• Develops and maintains process and technology to manage a portfolio of projects.
• Provides project management support to cell therapy portfolio projects.
• Ensures preclinical Cell Therapy Enterprise project aspects are delivered on time and budget.
• Facilitates a positive project environment through team interactions.
• Oversees timely outsourcing of preclinical Cell Therapy Enterprise activities with proper scheduling, risk and cost control.
• Collaborates with Cell Therapy PSL on non-clinical internal resources.
• Provides PM expertise to support cross-functional project plans.
• Drives development and implementation of new PM strategies and tools.
• Acts as a technical owner within Scientific Project Management.
• Leads and implements globally agreed PM strategies and techniques.
• Communicates new processes/strategies to project teams for future procedures.
• Keeps up-to-date with best practices and developments in PM.
• Contributes to development and sharing of new procedures and tools to improve quality and efficiency.
