Philip Morris International (PMI) is seeking a Category Lead - Digital Solutions for our Madrid location. You will manage SaaS and IT services procurement, driving global strategy with cross-functional partners and suppliers.

The role requires 5-7 years in IT procurement, strong pricing knowledge, and proven negotiation and contracting capabilities to deliver value across PMI’s global technology portfolio.

Formación

• BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related topics.
• Native or fluent English (C1).
• 5-7 years of experience in procurement of IT & Digital Services, or account management in an IT multinational.
• Deep understanding of pricing and pricing models across global geographies.
• Bid-management experience and contracting experience (including KPI setting and measurement).
• Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills and negotiation skills.

For our Procurement Category Management team in Madrid, we are looking for a Category Lead - Digital Solutions who will report into the Category Manager Global Technology.

In this role, you will handle assignedsub-categories, acting as a subject matter expert. Demonstrating an eye for business opportunities, you will provide critical thinking to assure, protect and build value for PMI.

Your Day-to-day

• Be a trend setter and the a subject matter expert in SaaS & IT services related products, developing and deploying Global Strategic Procurement plans by interacting with key collaborators, analysing category data and metrics to drive and deliver end-to-end category management practices in line with overall functional strategies.
• Develop and deploy global and regional strategies by engaging and building relationships with internal cross-functional partners, external suppliers and industry experts.
• Adhere to current processes and recommend improvements to standard processes, focusing on cost optimisation, quality, and service levels.
• Manage high-cost contracts and vendors on a global level, ensuring service reliability, supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives are met.

Who We're Looking For

• BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related topics
• Native or fluent speaking in English (minimum C1)
• 5-7 years of experience in procurement of IT & Digital Services, or account management/sales in a IT specialized multinational
• Deep understanding of pricing and pricing models in different global geographies/markets
• Bid-management experience & contracting experience (including KPI setting and measurement)
• Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills and fantastic negotiation skills
