When you join us, you will have
  • Continuous learning: Our learning and apprenticeship culture, backed by structured programs, is all about helping you grow while creating an environment where feedback is clear, actionable, and focused on your development. The real magic happens when you take the input from others to heart and embrace the fast‑paced learning experience, owning your journey.

You’ll make a tangible impact by offering innovative ideas and practical solutions, all while upholding our unwavering commitment to ethics and integrity. We not only encourage diverse perspectives, but they are critical in driving us toward the best possible outcomes.
  • Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm’s diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions for our clients. Your Impact

You will work in teams as a specialist practitioner to solve pressing and complex issues at clients through deploying analytical tools, as well as support the development of new proprietary tools, benchmarking databases and market perspectives. In this role, you will often work in teams of typically 3-5 consultants, playing an active role in client engagements. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses and developing communication and recommendations. You’ll also present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.

You’ll also focus on building and scaling analytical solutions used for engagement across portfolio optimisation, project development and value improvement, project execution, cost and schedule diagnostic. You will also prepare detailed cost estimates and budget forecasts for large‑scale capital projects using advanced software tools and internal proprietary databases.

You will contribute to McKinsey’s industry knowledge by staying up to date with the latest in the capital projects industry and you will contribute to proprietary models and analyses. This includes gathering the information necessary to develop these tools and synthesize your findings into McKinsey formatted products. These products may be in the form of complex models and summary reports which evolve into standalone presentations that outline key findings and recommendations to internal and external audiences.

You will have the opportunity to gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm. You will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on your teams.

You will have the opportunity to work in either the Madrid, Lisbon or Wroclaw office as part of our Capital Analytics Client Capabilities Network. This network is a component of our larger Capital Excellence Service Line.

Capital Analytics provides distinctive analysis, insights, and support to major capital projects across sectors. We offer services including estimate and schedule validation, benchmarking, diligence, and readiness reviews. Our dedicated specialists apply proprietary tools and methodologies and a data‑driven approach.

Our aim is to embed deep capital analytics into all our engagements and help cement Capital Excellence service across industries.
