AVL Iberica is seeking a proactive Calibration Engineer to join its powertrain calibration team in a dynamic environment in Martorell, near Barcelona. The role focuses on calibration responsibilities, test preparation, and data analysis, with opportunities to grow professionally.

Ideal candidates have a engineering degree (masters are a plus), 1–3 years of experience, and knowledge of powertrain engines. Proficiency in English is required, German is a plus, and a driving license is necessary.

Formación

• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of powertrain and engines required.
• Ability to work in a team with responsible, goal‑oriented attitude.
• Python and Matlab knowledge is desirable; driving license is required.

Responsabilidades

• Calibration duties in powertrain: On Board Diagnostic and On Board Monitoring.
• Develop calibration and automation methodologies to improve processes.
• Prepare and analyze chassis dyno and engine bench test results.
• Conduct road tests for real driving conditions validation, including trips.
• Report to team leader and client during project development.

We are searching a proactive, dedicated, responsible and motivated person to join our powertrain calibration team, who wants to grow as a person/professional in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Location: Martorell, Barcelona, Spain

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calibration responsibilities in powertrain calibration: On Board Diagnostic and On Board Monitoring
• Development of calibration and automatization methodologies in order to improve the calibration process
• Perform chassis dyno and engine bench tests preparation and results analysis
• Road testing for real driving conditions validation, including tests trips (summer / winter)
• Reporting to the team leader and client during the development of the project.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Good English level. German is a plus.
• Engineering degree or similar. Master degree is a plus.
• Years of experience: desirable range between 1-3 years
• Knowledge of powertrain and engines.
• High sense of responsibility, goal-orientation and teamwork skills.
• Python & Matlab knowledge is desirable.
• Driving license is needed
