Alvarez & Marsal Deutschland GmbH is seeking an Associate for Restructuring & Insolvency in the British Virgin Islands. You will join a team handling high-profile engagements across restructuring advisory and insolvency, working with senior leaders to deliver client solutions.

The role requires a recognised accounting/finance qualification and at least 3 years in professional services, with strong financial analysis and exposure to complex engagements.

Formación

• An internationally recognised professional qualification in accounting or finance, supported by a strong academic record.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a professional services environment is essential, with a preference for candidates from audit, restructuring & insolvency, or turnaround banking backgrounds.
• Candidates must demonstrate a solid grounding in financial analysis, accounting principles, and exposure to complex engagements.
• Applicants should evidence strong financial analysis, experience assessing financial performance, identifying key risks, and working with complex financial information in a professional services or advisory context.
• Practical experience in company-side advisory, accelerated sale or distressed M&A processes, IBRs, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, or capital structure is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Gain exposure to a broad range of assignments across the insolvency and restructuring spectrum, developing technical and commercial expertise.
• Support business development, including identifying potential clients, contributing to client pitches, and assisting in proposals to secure new mandates.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on advisory projects and leverage commercial aspects of financial analysis in client engagements.
