At Evercam, BizOps sits within our Systems, Data and AI function and connects business processes and technology. The team runs our ERP-type processes across the Zoho suite and builds the internal tools that keep the business moving.
As a Business Systems Engineer (internally, BizOps Systems Engineer), you’ll turn ideas, tickets, and cross-functional requests into delivered, adopted solutions. You’ll own work end to end: scoping, planning, configuring, automating, rolling out, documenting, and closing the loop with teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Product, and Operations.
This role is intentionally broad. It suits someone who is business-fluent and hands‑on with systems: you understand how each team uses the same data differently across the lead‑to‑cash process, and you can configure and automate the tools to support how people actually work. You won’t just set systems up; you’ll make sure people use them well.
Location: Remote, working hours aligned with GMT/UTC+0. We’d ideally like someone based in Western Europe or Algeria, as we already have team coverage in later time zones.
What you’ll do
Deliver projects end to end
- Build lightweight project plans with stakeholders across the business.
- Implement changes using the right mix of system configuration, low-code/no-code tools, scripting and AI-assisted building.
- Coordinate testing, rollout, training and post‑launch feedback.
Improve and connect our systems
- Work across Zoho CRM, Books, Desk, Analytics, Mail, Google Drive and related integrations, spotting ownership gaps, source‑of‑truth conflicts and downstream impact before changes go live.
- Translate business goals into clear data models, fields, workflows, integrations, reporting, and governance.
- Use AI tools to build simple internal tools and automations where off‑the‑shelf options fall short.
- Evaluate build‑vs‑buy options with technical owners, weighing speed, maintainability, data quality, adoption, and ownership.
- Maintain clear documentation, project notes, and handoff materials.
- Turn repeated questions into better process notes, training, or workflow improvements.
- Make sure every new workflow has a clear owner, escalation path, adoption metrics, and review date.
- Help teams move from ad hoc chat requests to visible ticket and project systems.
Must-have requirements
- Hands‑on experience configuring or administering a CRM or ERP system (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, Odoo), beyond using it as an end user.
- Experience building workflow automations using low‑code/no‑code tools or native platform automation features.
- Experience improving end‑to‑end business processes across teams.
- Comfortable working directly with stakeholders and challenging existing processes.
- Strong written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Zoho experience (CRM, Books, Desk, Analytics, Deluge).
- Experience with specific automation and integration tools such as Zapier, Make, or Workato, or working with APIs.
- Scripting or AI‑assisted building experience.
- Strong data hygiene habits: clear naming, definitions, and clean reporting.
What success looks like
- Stakeholders always know the current status and next step of their projects.
- Changes launch with documentation, communication, and follow‑up.
- Teams adopt new processes and systems instead of reverting to workarounds.
- Ticket aging and dropped follow‑ups go down.
- Other teams understand how a system change affects them before it launches.
- Build‑vs‑buy decisions are documented, covering maintenance, ownership, source‑of‑truth impact, and adoption risk.
