Tamarind Intelligence in Madrid is seeking an experienced Strategy & Transformation Consulting Manager to lead engagements across industry sectors, shaping strategy, performance and digital transformation. You will guide senior stakeholders, orchestrate cross-functional teams and deliver robust client outcomes in a hybrid Madrid setting.

The role emphasizes multi-industry work, client workshops, and driving growth for the practice.

Formación

• Five+ years in strategy/management consulting or transformation.
• Experience leading consulting workstreams from problem definition to final recommendation.
• Confidence presenting complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and manage competing demands.
• Experience developing consultants across levels of seniority.
• Commercial awareness and involvement in proposals or account growth.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Own the planning and delivery of engagements, defining objectives, workstreams, resources, timelines and governance.
• Turn complex business challenges into structured approaches and clear recommendations.

• Oversee diagnostics, analyses and deliverables, ensuring consistency across workstreams.

Lead the decisions behind meaningful transformation

Managing a consulting project is not only about keeping a plan on track. It is about creating clarity when the challenge is still ambiguous, helping senior stakeholders make difficult decisions and enabling a team to deliver work that stands up to scrutiny.

We are looking for an experienced consulting professional who is ready to lead strategy and business transformation engagements within our Industry practice.

You will work with organisations across areas such as consumer goods, manufacturing, life sciences, mobility and real estate, helping them address challenges related to strategy, performance improvement, customer experience, digitalisation, analytics and organisational transformation.

This is an opportunity to combine three dimensions of leadership: delivering relevant client outcomes, helping people perform at their best and contributing to the growth of the practice.

What will you lead?

• Own the planning and delivery of consulting engagements, defining objectives, workstreams, resources, timelines and governance.
• Turn complex business challenges into structured approaches, robust analyses and clear recommendations.
• Lead client conversations, workshops and executive presentations, ensuring that decisions and next steps remain actionable.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, creating clarity around responsibilities, priorities and expected outcomes.
• Oversee diagnostics, analyses and deliverables, challenging the work when necessary and ensuring consistency across workstreams.
• Anticipate project risks, manage dependencies and make informed decisionswhen priorities change.
• Build a strong understanding of each client’s business and sectorto develop solutions that respond to their specific context.
• Lead and contribute to commercial proposals, helping shape the approach, value proposition and delivery model.

What will help you succeed?

• At least five years of experience in strategy consulting, management consulting, business transformation, investment banking or another demanding advisory environment.
• A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Political Science or a related discipline. Postgraduate education will be valued.
• Experience leading consulting workstreams or projects from problem definition through to final recommendation.
• Confidence working with senior client stakeholders and presenting complex ideas clearly.
• The ability to structure ambiguous problems, prioritise competing demands and maintain quality under pressure.
• Experience coordinating and developing consultants with different levels of seniority.
• Commercial awareness and previous involvement in proposals, opportunity development or account growth.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Strong command of PowerPoint and Excel.
