ALG is a leading global consultancy team with 35 years of experience in the transport sector. We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Madrid or Barcelona offices.

You will work in the ANS and Space department on projects including market assessments, business plan development for aviation and space, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses, collaborating with senior client management.

Formación

• Master’s degree from a top-tier university program, preferably in Aerospace Engineering.
• Business consulting experience 0-2 years.
• Basic knowledge about Air Navigation Services and Air Traffic Management systems and technologies.
• Basic knowledge about the Space Industry (Earth Observation, Communications, GNSS…).
• Fluent Spanish & English; French desirable.
• Availability to travel.

We have a worldwide presence leveraging on our offices located in Spain, UAE, KSA, U.S.A, Brazil and Mexico.

Currently, we are looking for a Business Analyst, to join our team in our Madrid or Barcelona offices.

Your role

As a Business Analyst you will be part of one of the top transport and infrastructure consulting companies and you could become an industry-leading subject matter expert or a trusted advisor to senior client management on a wide range of issues. Within the ANS and Space department, you will be involved in a wide variety of projects including but not limited to:

• Strategic advisory (market assessments, strategic plans…)
• Business plan development for aviation and space industry stakeholder
• Feasibility studies and support to the deployment of systems and infrastructures
• Cost-Benefit Analysis of innovative solutions
• Organisation, institutionalisation and policy-making studies.

You will be responsible for:

As a Business Analyst within ALG you will work with the leading organisations in aviation, air traffic management, and space industries, at national and international levels.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Gather, analyse, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Draw recommendations based on the analysis performed to support client decision-making processes.
• Develop detailed reports and visual presentations to communicate findings effectively to senior members of your team and clients.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Master’s degree from a top-tier university program, preferably in Aerospace Engineering
• Business consulting experience 0-2 years.
• Basic knowledge about Air Navigation Services and Air Traffic Management systems and technologies (ATM-CNS equipment and technologies, UTM, Digital Towers…)
• Basic knowledge about the Space Industry (Earth Observation, Communications, GNSS…).
• Problem solving approach to projects.
• High level of self-reliance and work capacity.
• Fluent Spanish & English is required and fluent French is desirable (Oral and written skills).
• Availability to travel.
• Enthusiasm and dedication for aviation consultancy work.
