Job summary

The Social Hub in Barcelona is offering an on-site internship for a copywriter who can help develop our brand language across hotel, short stay, co-working and F&B offerings. You will write for social, newsletters, brochures, and press materials while collaborating with the communications team.

Ideal candidates are university students with a background in Marketing, English, or Journalism, who can work in English and Spanish, manage deadlines, and adapt to various brand voices.

Qualifications

• Student currently enrolled in university with internship agreement.
• BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field.
• Some experience in copywriting.
• Ability to fact-check long-form content pieces.
• Excellent time-management and writing/editing skills in English and Spanish.
• Understand different language styles for various target markets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage workload effectively.
• Eye for detail and openness to feedback.
• Legally allowed to work in Spain; internship on site in Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Write copy for a variety of media including social, video and offline prints.
• Collaborate with Head of Communications, PR and Social Media Manager on content strategy and brand language across all products.
• Assist the marketing team in events and press activations.
• Brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials with PR and marketing teams.
• Produce long copy (newsletters, brochures, press releases) as well as short copy (social media campaigns).
• Edit and proofread written pieces before publication.
• Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere.
