Job summary

Northrop and Johnson is seeking a fit, energetic Bosun for a 46m private/charter yacht. Must confidently stand bridge watches and drive an 11m tender with triple outboards. A Yacht Master is the minimum requirement and some progress toward OOW with a few modules is a plus. The role will transition to First Officer for several months each year.

The vessel will winter in Spain before sailing to the Baltic for the summer of 2027, with a total crew of 11. MLC contract offered.

Qualifications

• Must confidently stand bridge watches and drive an 11m tender with triple outboards.
• Yacht Master certification required at minimum.
• Experience working towards OOW with a few modules is a bonus.
• Start date: November 25th.
• MLC contract offered.

Responsibilities

• Will step into First Officer role a few months each year.
• Vessel wintering in Spain, then Baltic for summer 2027.
• Crew of 11 on board.
