Job summary

Allianz Technology Se Spain Branch is seeking a BMP Rollout Manager to own global IT delivery and the product vision for BMP rollout and claims management. This director-level role partners with senior stakeholders to shape strategy, budget and cross‑border execution.

You will lead a distributed engineering organization, drive GenAI-enabled productivity, and ensure security and compliance across markets while delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in large IT delivery or technology organizations.
• Proven ability to lead internationally distributed teams and drive performance.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management with board exposure.
• Ownership of technology strategy, roadmaps, budgets and delivery.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering practices (Agile/DevOps/SAFe).
• Experience managing strategic technology vendors and sourcing models.

• Fluent English; cross-country collaboration experience in insurance/financial services is a plus.

BMP Rollout Manager

About the role

As BMP Rollout Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of the global IT delivery, product vision and evolution of BMP rollout and claims management capabilities.

This is a highly visible Director-level leadership role at the intersection of technology, business and transformation. You will define the strategic direction of the platform, own its IT budget and delivery outcomes, and lead a globally distributed engineering organization together with key external partners.

Working closely with senior business stakeholders and board-level decision makers, you will translate business priorities into scalable, reliable and compliant technology solutions. Beyond delivering today’s roadmap, you will play a key role in shaping the future of BMP, driving global adoption and leveraging GenAI and Agentic AI to accelerate engineering productivity and create measurable business value.

What you do

• Own the global IT product vision and strategy for BMP, translating business priorities into a scalable roadmap, clear investment priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Take end-to-end accountability for IT delivery, ensuring quality, reliability, predictability and transparency across the global BMP landscape and claims capabilities.
• Own and steer the IT budget, balancing run and change investments while ensuring cost transparency, financial discipline and alignment with strategic priorities.
• Lead and develop a global engineering organization, creating a high-performing environment across internal teams, geographies, cultures and external partners.
• Act as a trusted technology partner to senior executives and board-level stakeholders, providing clear, data-driven perspectives on progress, risks, priorities and strategic trade-offs.
• Shape the organizational and sourcing strategy and govern strategic vendors, ensuring strong performance, contractual alignment and effective collaboration with Procurement.
• Drive the global scaling and adoption of the standard BMP product, ensuring stability, configurability, security, regulatory compliance and consistent implementation across markets.
• Champion technology innovation across the organization, including the adoption of GenAI for software engineering and Agentic AI capabilities to improve productivity, quality and customer outcomes.

What you bring

• Significant leadership experience in large-scale IT delivery, software engineering or technology organizations, ideally within a complex global or matrix environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing large, internationally distributed teams, with the ability to create alignment, accountability and a strong performance culture.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership and board-level stakeholders in complex environments.
• Demonstrated ownership of technology strategy, roadmaps, budgets and large-scale delivery, balancing business value, investment priorities, operational stability and risk.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering and delivery practices, including Agile, DevOps, SAFe or comparable methodologies.
• Experience managing strategic technology vendors and sourcing models, building effective partnerships while maintaining strong performance and delivery governance.
• A strategic and pragmatic leadership style, with strong decision‑making, communication and risk‑management skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and simplify complex topics.
• Fluent English and experience working across different countries and cultures; experience in insurance, financial services or another large-scale technology environment would be an advantage.
