Job summary

WhiteBIT is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer / IT Systems Administrator in Spain to design, deploy, and secure a multi-vendor network infrastructure across Juniper, Fortinet, and Cisco. You will manage RADIUS/802.1X, SaaS platforms, and automation scripts, ensuring robust uptime and rapid incident response for a fast-growing fintech environment.

You will work with global teams on VPNs, routing, and security protocols, while enabling seamless access and automation across Google Workspace,

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Network Engineer or IT Systems Administrator role.
• Hands-on configuring Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, APs).
• Strong Fortinet NGFW, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), BGP/OSPF, VLAN segmentation, traffic engineering.
• Experience deploying RADIUS and 802.1X.
• SaaS & IT services management (Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack, SSO/IdP).
• Scripting for automation (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and API/webhook integrations.
• Ukrainian and/or Russian fluent (C1–C2); English (B1–B2) for docs/communication.
• Nice-to-have: CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA, Fortinet NSE 4/5.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and harden multi-vendor network infrastructure (Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco).
• Administer authentication systems using RADIUS and 802.1X for wired and wireless networks.
• Manage user identities and access across Google Workspace, Slack, and other SaaS platforms.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and API integrations (Jira, Slack, CRM).
• Act as Tier 3 escalation support for network and SaaS outages to ensure high availability.
• Maintain site-to-site VPNs and core routing (BGP/OSPF); monitor with Zabbix/Syslog/SNMP.
